Cons Goes to San Fran

Okay, so today I decided to go to San Francisco with my mom. Not too bad, really. San Francisco can be lots of fun. My mom wanted me to spend more time with her.

So the first thing my mom decides to do is to grab one of her Spanish friends. What the heck? That tells me that she expects me to just stay quiet and unhappy in a small little corner, and that she doesn’t want ME to be with her, she just wants me to get out of the house. Ahahaah, aha, not funny mom. That’s probably one of the meanest things you’ve ever done to me.

Then the second thing she decides to do is to take me to a mall. A MALL. I COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY ABHOR THE MALL. And it wasn’t even one of those multi-purpose malls full of random stores full of electronics and toy stores and the like. Oh no. It was filled to the brim with nothing but shoes, clothes, more shoes, perfume, jewelry, makeup, even more shoes, and all the other unbearably feminine and useless trivialities that I couldn’t care less about. And we were in there for TWO AND A HALF HOURS. I was dying in there! The only good thing that came out of that was these new converse shoes that I love very much.

Other than those two faults, the rest of the day was actually pretty fun. I found this one sign that said “HEAT (Advertising, not Basketball)” that I thought was hilarious. And we went to Pier 39 to eat some food at the Fisherman’s Wharf. The place we ate at, though, had the worst pizza I’d ever eaten and gave me some sort of tea instead of the sprite I asked for. But I did get a new sketchbook from the place and have begun doodles in it already with a pen (didn’t have a pencil on hand at the time). Also as the crummy pizza place some sort of liquid dripped from the ceiling on my head, and now my hair smells like wine.
I had a fairly decent time in San Francisco today, though it definitely could have been better. If we had enough time we might have even gone to Haight/Ashbury! I wish.

Also, I got this really snazzy crab hat!

Score!
