I really don't see why it's a bad thing to like big toys over small toys. When I was younger I always shoved my smaller toys into the corner of the toy bag (I didn't have a toy box because those were too big for my trailer house) and played with my Barbies instead, since those were bigger than my hand and easier to hold.
A bit earlier I actually got kinda angry and decided that I hated small toys and wanted them all to burn in an incinerator. I quickly learned the error of my ways after some people on Twitter decided to treat it as though I was breaking some sort of law. I don't hate hate them anymore, but I still prefer big toys over small toys. I don't even WANT any small toys in my collection, simply because I like big toys better.
